Sarah Jessica Parker's surrogate mother pregnant with twins

Sex and the City star, Sarah Jessica Parker, 44, and husband Mathew Broderick, 47, are expecting twin

daughters later this summer via a surrogate mother.

Sources close to the couple claim the pair tried unsuccessfully for years to give their 6 year-old-son James Wilkie a sibling naturally, before turning to a surrogate. Although the specific source of the infertility is unknown, the couple's problems may be linked to Broderick's absurd sideburns or the fact that Parker is skinnier than a Chinese gymnast.

The name and address of the surrogate haven't been released for fear that she will be overwhelmed by couples wanting to have the same 'baby's momma' as Parker. Most surrogate mothers can expect to earn between 10K-25K, but the pay scale for celebrity surrogates is expected to be in the millions. The question many are asking is--does this baby's momma get double the pay for carrying twice the load?

While surrogate mothers may still be limited to the rich, they're no longer restricted to homosexual couples, actresses whose careers depend on maintaining their appearance, and users who can't go clean for nine months. Surrogates provide an option for infertile celebrity couples who have the self-control to wait nine months for a kid instead of just confiscating several at a time from third-world countries--also known as 'the Madonna snatch' or 'the Jolie swindle.'

Parker and Broderick join a long list of celebrities who have had twins through a surrogate: Angela Bassett and husband Courtney B. Vance, Robert De Niro, Fraiser's Peri Gilpin, Kelsey Grammer, Cindy Margolis, Dennis Quaid, and Ricky Martin.

The Actresses whose careers depend on maintaining their appearance, and users who can’t go clean for nine months.so they do so, But it is not for all the person because to give birth to his baby form herself is nice and better.

Or they could just grab two from the Octumom. Give it a few years and people will be getting their offspring via mail-order or on the Internet. Suddenly I feel so normal.

Nobody knows why they chose this route to have kids and it doesn't matter. Their hearts are in the right place! I wish them the best of luck! John

Wow, is it a fertility procedure that results in twins? I think it is. If you have the money, you get two babies honey.

I know Broderick and Sarah Jessica Parker supposedly had to go the surrogate route, but it still seems a bit awkward... from conception to birth

Kudos to them for keeping surrogacy in the news! Surrogate mothers are truly a blessing to so many couples who can't (or don't want to) go through pregnancy. Wishing the expecting parents and their surrogate mother an uneventful nine months.

it would be nice if they would adopt a baby who is already in this world and needs a mother and father, maybe if she would eat once a week she might be healthier and able to have her own
