Tournament of Tacos Readers' Poll Tampa Championship: Mekenita vs. Mema's

Both Mekenita Mexican Grill in Lutz and Mema's Alaskan Tacos in Ybor have been able to motivate the troops and get out the vote, no matter the competition. But how will the two powerhouses fare against each other?

Mema's are the best tacos! They serve after the bars let out in ybor and are soo damn good. If you haven't been-stumble over there this weekend and enjoy! And just a side note who goes to lutz for anything?Its just more sprawling suburbia.

Mekenita's has my vote hands down!!! Great food! Great people! Great service! They are just amazing! And not only are their tacos awesome, but so is everything else on the menu!

I've come to this place since they opened with their old name. They have never changed. Their food is unique, delicious, well presented, smooth atmosphere, the staff is very kind, but most of all, The Food. It's like gourmet tacos well done. And the sauces!!! That's another great part! We still come here after we moved 45 mins farther away. Comida muy deliciosa! Sin duda alguna!

I've been going to Mekenita's since they've opened and they will always get my vote. It's my families favorite resturant!
if you hit the button "vote after the break" should take you to the page to vote. If you have ever been to Mema's then you know its great. I have been to Mekinita its fresh but lacks flavor. Its also very trendy. Clean but trendy none the less. Give me Mema's anytime!
