The Fusionistas are made up of three local girls who call themselves the Fusionistas because together they combine the elements of art, fashion, hair,performance, and local life. They have avid appetites for all things interesting, underground and not yet public. they seek out what is not offered and make it their job to create a scene for it, and to give the people a purpose and something different!

It won't be definable what we will bring you, but know that it will be something you've been waiting for. if you've ever questioned your surroundings of people and places wanting something more, we are what you've been asking for... here is just a sampling of the things in the works...

The Fusionistas:

Tara: She's a versatile hair stylist with edge, she's got punk and goth roots, and also doubles as a fashion designer. She brings her New York style and experience to the Fusionistas and will be contributing tips on hair and alternative styles. Tara is the head hair dresser for all Aleka Phoenix Fashion shows and she is the owner of her own hair salon, SALON 54.

Lennox: Well, there's no definable way to pin Lennox down, but she is our contributing performer, dancer, androgynous style Fusionista. She's a bit of a chameleon and loves the nightlife. She loves Long Islands so you can judge her character on that. She's sassy. She has been doing the drag queen circuit for the past 6 years and is striving to take her performances to the level of performance art. She is a constant staple in Aleka Phoenix Fashion Shows and events. You'll have to ask her to explain how exactly she can call herself a "Drag Queen"...

Aleka Phoenix: The last Fusionista is Me! i'm Brianna as a person and Aleka Phoenix is my fashion business and promotional name. It gets confusing, so i answer to both... i've been hard at work hustlin my fashions all over the Tampa Bay area for the past two years. With a background in tradtional arts i fuse the ideas of art into everyday clothing. To me fashion isn't about someone looking expensive, it's about the person really feeling like they are expressing themselves visually. I love doing custom work for clients and i'm always looking for people who need a lil' change in their style...it's a totally underrated notion, but it can change everything...so give me a chance to bring out your personality through fashion.
