Bluelucy meets Moby and Michael Stipe

DC

We've been to art events that claim to be THE BEST show of the year — this was the first to actually live up to it. Manifest Hope:DC was the perfect combination of the right place, the right art and the right people. This three-day exhibit ended with an electrifying gala that changed our lives forever. ( Yes, it was that big )

The opening address of the gala was given by a few people you may know...

Manifest Hope Opening Gala

From Left: Moby, Michael Stipe, Shepard Fairey, Heather Graham and Rosario Dawson

In the pic above, Stipe was addressing the artists in the show — thanking them for all their efforts.

Shepard also spoke and gave a moving speech about the coming shift in art and culture.

Heather and Rosario are so badass they just waved and smiled.

Calling this show the best of the year would be an understatement.

For the Bluelucy boyz... it was the best show EVER!

So this confirms that Moby and Michael Stipe are not the same person.

All the show pics are coming next. It was a massive exhibit and it's just taking me a little bit to get these organized for you guys.

I wish! It's funny – I called my brother to tell him about the whole experience... and all he wanted (or cared about) was a pick of roller girl.
