Need a labiaplasty?

Posted by Leilani Polk on Thu, Nov 13, 2008 at 5:04 PM

I'm not gonna call it the latest plastic surgery trend because it's been around for a while, but that doesn't mean I'm able to hold back a snicker when I get a press release for an informative lecture on ... Cosmetic Gynecology!

Yes, folks, it's pretty much just how it sounds -- cosmetic surgery for your lady parts. St. Pete gynecologist Dr. Jennifer Hayes of Visionary Centre for Women gives a talk on Wed., Dec. 3, at 6 p.m., about how you, too, can have a beautiful vagina with just a few cuts. Surgery options include Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation (LVR), probably the most well-known, for those woman who want to improve the tone of their vaginal muscles and increase friction; labiaplasty, for those women who want smaller lips; and the G-shot G-spot enhancement procedure, for those women who'd like to increase their ability to orgasm via vaginal (not to be confused with clitoral) stimulation. This last doesn't require a knife or lasers, but it does require that you be okay with having a cosmetic filler -- Restylane -- injected via needle directly into your G-spot.

Personally, I'm gonna have to decline. I'm saving my self-improvement money for my next psychiatric visit.

awesome... everyone can look virginally fresh! now there is no excuse for the dreaded 'roast beef'. this must be one of those times where the webeditors are glad commoners can't post images.

You should probably have something tightened and write a story about it... you know, for kicks.

I have always been insecure with the way my labia minora looked, worse than that was the way it felt. My lifestyle has always been an active one and the discomfort I often experienced because of the size of my labia was something I thought I would just have to live with. Trying to discuss this issue with anyone was also very difficult. During my last annual checkup, I was so excited to find out Dr. Hayes (who delivered my 1st daughter) was doing Cosmetic Gynecology. It has been three months since my surgery and I am loving it. It looks so good and most importantly I can wear anything, exercise with no discomfort, and best of all have 100% comfortable sex with my husband — physically and aesthetically. Dr. Hayes and her staff made the entire experience a pleasant one. I recommend the surgery to any women who feels insecure with her genitalia. Don't wait! You will be so happy with the results!
