2. Comedian Pretty Paul Parsons (aka the Dirty Old Man – and he is dirty, indeed) performs a single-night show at Side Splitters Comedy Club. 8:30 p.m., 12938 N. Dale Mabry,Tampa, $12-$14, 813-960-1197.

3. This month’s Indy Film Café selection is the award-winning documentary, Waiting to Inhale: Marijuana, Medicine and the Law. See a preview of the film here. 8 p.m., Studio @ 620, 620 First. Ave. S., downtown Tampa, $5 general/$3 members, 727-895-6620.

4. Ad 2 Tampa Bay interviews a group of Amendment 5 opponents in this evening’s edition of “AdCast,” the group’s live monthly Internet video program. The guests are state senator Victor Crist, state rep Kevin Ambler, AAF Fourth District lobbyist Jack Hebert, and local advertising agency owner Glen Peak. The show is broadcast live on Ad 2 Tampa Bay’s website from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

5. Last Comic Standing alumni Chris Porter brings his stand-up to the Tampa Improv for a five-night run that kicks off tonight. 8 p.m., 1600 E. Eighth Ave., Centro Ybor, Ybor City, $14, 813-864-4000.
