Hyde Park is getting some newbies this year. Within the next coming months, the neighborhood is set to welcome Oh Yeah Creamery by Revolution Ice Cream, plus new restaurant Willa's alongside sister coffee shop concept Willa's Provisions. Champagne and cocktail bar, Bouzy, is also adding its name to the lineup. Cru Cellars owner Jennifer Bingham is behind the project that is scheduled to open this summer on West Snow Avenue.
According to Bouzy's website, this forthcoming bar will be a prime location for date night, girls night out, or a little escape from the mundane.
"Bouzy blends elevated elegance with poppy effervescence to embody the timeless spirit of our favorite drink. Our fizz-first menu features a thoughtfully curated selection of champagnes, pét-nats, craft cocktails, and small plates."
In a recent interview with Tampa Bay Business Journal, Bingham explained that the concept's name is derived from a village in the Champagne region of France. And before you embarrass yourself trying to mimic a French accent, it's pronounced "boozy"— which is exactly what you'll be after an evening with new bubbles in Hyde Park.
More details to come as permitting and renovations get kicked off and an official opening date is announced.
