1. Hear what artist Brian Tolle has to say about public art and see examples of some of his works, including his 2002 “Irish Hunger Memorial" installation in NYC’s Battery Park (pictured above).
2. Pick up a copy of N.M. Kelby’s Murder at the Bad Girls Bar and Grill and get it signed by the Sarasota author.
3. Enjoy a sneak peek of Stageworks Theater’s new digs.
4. The St. Petersburg City Council debates whether to allow the Tampa Bay Rays ballpark plan to move forward toward a November vote during its regular meeting at City Hall, starting at 8:30 a.m. and lasting through the day. It’s open to the public but expect a huge crowd.
5. The Boston Celtics and Los Angeles Lakers rekindle their fabled rivalry in the NBA Finals, which begin tonight at 9 p.m. on ABC.
