Blogging it up

I would like to thank Wayne for teaching me how to blog. No doubt you'll all be riveted by my posts.
I was just typing up this letter to the editor re: Useless jobs for next week. Thought it was mildly funny...
“Speaking of useless jobs, how about reporters who probably smoke dope all day then write stories they think are funny.†Sounds like a great job.
If I were you, on my lunch hour, being quite high and feeling fine, I would walk over to my nearest Wal Mart. I imagine leaving with a backpack full of a computer and bulging with condoms when the greeter haggles with me about my integrity for not shopping at Wal Mart since I have no plastic bags dutifully filled with goods made in China. I feel useless. But just then, a busload of nursing home folks flow through the gap, all needing greetings and scooters.
I escape and smoke another one. Then I write another funny story, funny to me, funny maybe to others. And I get paid for it. What a life. Better than a Wal Mart life…maybe.
