Bradenton's South Florida Museum gets totally spaced-out tonight for the Bishop Planetarium's Think + Drink (Science), where you can grab a beer or a glass of wine (or a soft drink) and learn about cutting-edge science in a relaxed, informal setting from 7 to 9 p.m. Tonight's program, "What's It Like to Work on the Space Shuttle: The Misadventures of a Space Cadet," comes to us courtesy of Gregory Cecil Gregory N. Cecil, M.A.S., a Florida State Certified Educator, Nationally Certified Aerospace Technician, and former Senior Aerocomposite Technician for the Space Shuttle Fleet. Cecil will entertain audiences of all ages with his experiences with anecdotes and trivia about  the Space Shuttle Program from a technician's point of view. $4. 7-9 p.m. Paid reservations required; RSVP by clicking here or call 941-746-4131, ext. 17. In St. Pete, the holidays become healthier when Boley's Jingle Bell Run takes over Spa Beach Park at 7:30 p.m. Thousands of people walking, jogging and jingling their way along the waterfront.
