Lisa Landry at Tampa Improv. Landry is like that friend you have who speaks her mind. You kind of envy her lack of a filter, and enjoy hearing her say the things you're probably thinking. Mark Normand at Side Splitters. Normand is a thinker. It's obvious in his writing, but his stage presence isn't elitist or condescending. It's witty and accessible, which helps draw the audience in. Dean Napolitano at Snappers Grill & Comedy Club. Napolitano's family is a big part of his act. From talking about his dad to being a dad himself, his witty material is full of absurd, familiar and definitely funny moments. Bull at Coconuts Comedy Club (at MJs). One look at Bull, and people might assume he's there to start trouble. But the local comedians is just there to stir up some laughter with clever premises and a friendly stage demeanor.

Jym Gray at 2 Palms Bar & Bistro. Gray has a casual demeanor and delivery, and his punch lines are sharp. Maybe a bit raunchy, too, but it's clear he's just having a little fun with the audience.
