You know all those ironically hip "howl at the moon" designs on T-shirts nowadays. You can re-create one of your own with — more specifically, carve one in wood — with the help artist Glenn Fry of Tampa. (No, not Glenn Frey from the Eagles; this one has no "e").
Fry's easy intarsia of iconic Southwest image" can be seen in the Fall 2014 issue of Scroll Saw Woodworking & Crafts magazine, a publication devoted to the art and hobby of scroll saw cutting and design.
The issue will be available on newsstands through Oct. 27. Fry works on and teaches caricature carvings and intarsia.
